What we mean by cookies

These are needed for Course Wright to work. Without them you may not be able to sign in or use the product reliably.

• Authentication and session — our auth provider (Supabase) uses cookies or similar storage so we can keep you signed in and enforce access rules.
• Security and integrity — technologies that help protect accounts and the service (for example, against abuse or forged requests).

Analytics cookies (PostHog)

When analytics is enabled for this site, we use PostHog for product analytics and client error reporting. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage so it can recognize visits, capture page views and page leaves, and report technical exceptions.

We configure PostHog so person profiles are created for identified users only, and we aim not to send more personal information than is needed for analytics and reliability. We do not use PostHog (or any other vendor) for advertising cookies on Course Wright.

What we do not use

We do not use third-party advertising networks or sell cookie data. We do not claim session replay in this policy unless our product documentation says it is turned on.

How to manage cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage through their settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of Course Wright — including sign-in — may not work.

Browser controls vary by device and browser. Check your browser’s help pages for steps. Clearing cookies will usually sign you out of Course Wright on that device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date on this page (coursewright.com). Continued use of Course Wright after an update means you accept the revised policy.
